About Gamma API

The Gamma API is a RESTful API that mirrors the AI generation functionality available through Gamma's web application. It allows developers to programmatically create presentations, documents, social media posts, and websites. The API supports 60+ languages, customizable themes, multiple image sources, and various export formats.

Gamma API and Gamma

The Gamma Generate API (v1.0, GA since November 2025) enables you to create presentations from any text input — from a one-line prompt to 100,000 tokens of detailed content. API keys are available to all Pro, Ultra, Team, and Business accounts. The base URL is https://public-api.gamma.app/v1.0/ and authentication uses the X-API-KEY header format (skgamma-xxxxxxxx). The API supports all Gamma content formats, themes, image options, export to PPTX/PDF, folder organization, and email sharing.
