About Microsoft PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint is a versatile presentation software included in the Microsoft Office suite, designed to create visually engaging slideshows for both personal and professional use.

PowerPoint and Gamma

Gamma allows users to export their presentations as PowerPoint files. This enables you to create a presentation in Gamma and then open it in PowerPoint for further editing or presentation.

To embed a PowerPoint presentation into Gamma, Type the /powerpoint or /office command, then add the URL or embed code. You can also use the insert menu to open the "Embed apps & webpages" options. Select Office 365 from the list of options, then add the URL or embed code.

You can also import a PowerPoint presentation into Gamma. (Currently, Gamma allows you to import the text of a PowerPoint, not the styling or layouts.)

To import the text directly, without any modification, use the Import button on the home screen. This will pull in the text content, without modifying it. From there, you can add your own visuals and layouts manually, or use the AI chat feature to restyle individual cards.

• Create drafts in Gamma and refine in PowerPoint - Gamma's AI can quickly generate visually appealing presentation drafts from prompts, outlines, or imported files. These drafts can then be exported as PowerPoint files for further customization.

• Enhanced content creation - Users can import existing PowerPoint presentations into Gamma for AI-driven redesigns or to take advantage of Gamma's unique features, such as embedding interactive content (e.g., videos or charts) or creating web-based presentations.
