What Is the RALS Method™?

R = Riff
Start where they already are. Not where you are. Not what you want to say. But where they are thinking.

Goal
Build instant rapport. Enter the conversation already happening in their mind.

A = Anchor
Tie it down to real life. Not platitudes. Not vague. But something visceral they’ve felt or seen.

"Reminds me of the time I…"
"You know that sinking feeling when…"
Goal
Build trust and credibility through shared experience or relatable metaphor.

L = Lift
Here’s the point. This is the ah-ha or damn, that’s true moment. The handoff where the reader see’s themself in the post You’re now giving them language for something they’ve always felt but couldn’t name.

Goal
Deliver the insight and give it legs.

S = Shred
Burn the old model. Torch the limiting belief. Dare them to think or act differently.
