What Is Schools of Hope?
Literacy Focus
Our after-school program emphasizes literacy strategies, independent reading, and personalized coaching for students in grades 2-3.
Targeted Support
We provide intensive support for students who are at least one grade level behind in reading, helping them catch up and excel.

Students develop essential writing and research skills through engaging activities and projects, fostering a love for learning.

Lead Teacher
Certified in Learning Disabilities and Reading, Toni is a lead teacher with over 10 years of Elementary Education experience, who is committed to student success.
Hazel
With 50 years of experience, including 30 in reading recovery, Hazel brings unparalleled expertise to Schools of Hope.
Christina
I am The summer STEAM program coordinator as well as the Director for Ignite Kidz Children's Ministry for The Edge Urban Church. 
Lidia
Lidia has taught for over 30 years. She now serves at Cesar Chavez Elementary School as a volunteer to the 1st graders.
