Toy Selectah
DJ | Producer | Cultural Innovator
Location: Monterrey, Mexico
Originally known as "Toy" or "DJ Toy" during his days with the legendary Mexican hip hop group Control Machete, Toy Selectah has become one of Latin America’s most iconic producers and musical innovators. Since adopting the name Toy Selectah in 2008, he has been pushing the boundaries of Latin urban sound, fusing cumbia, reggaeton, hip hop, and global bass into an electrifying hybrid style.
As a producer and live remixer, Toy Selectah has collaborated with a wide array of international artists while creating his own powerful sound rooted in the streets of Monterrey. He served as Artistic Director of Universal Music’s sub-label Machete Music, helping shape the global spread of reggaeton, and is the founder of his own label, Sones del Mexside. His collaborative project Compass, with Camilo Lara of the Mexican Institute of Sound, further expanded his reach across genres and continents.
In 2025, Toy Selectah was announced as one of the official remixers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup theme, representing the musical voice of Monterrey on the global stage. At Luminarium, he brings his unmistakable sound and cultural firepower to an international audience of creators, investors, and digital pioneers.

Chucky García

Gustavo "Chucky" García is one of Colombia’s most influential voices in music curation, cultural programming, and music journalism. With over 25 years of experience in the music and audiovisual industries across Latin America and Europe, he has shaped the soundscape of a generation through landmark festivals, pioneering editorial work, and critically acclaimed screenwriting.
From 2014 to 2022, Chucky served as the Artistic Director of Rock al Parque, Latin America’s largest free rock festival and one of the most powerful platforms for live music in the world, drawing over 340,000 attendees annually in Bogotá. He also directed Colombia al Parque, a celebration of fusion, folklore, and world music, and in 2022, he curated and produced the inaugural BIME Bogotá, the Latin American edition of Europe’s top music industry summit.
Beyond festivals, Chucky has built a respected legacy as a music journalist and critic, publishing in Colombia, Latin America, and Spain. He has written two music documentaries and was the screenwriter behind "El Profesor Súper O", an educational TV series that earned him two national awards. In 2023, Netflix released "Rebelión", Chucky’s first original feature-length screenplay—a bold and intimate portrayal of Colombian music icon Joe Arroyo.
Chucky García continues to champion the power of music as a tool for cultural diplomacy, social commentary, and creative transformation—curating with depth, historical awareness, and a punk soul.

Juan Carlos Lemus Polanía is a cultural polymath whose work bridges the worlds of cinema, music, and philosophy. A respected film critic and creator of the podcast Cine con Acento, he has contributed to renowned publications including El Espectador, Cambio, and Ventana Indiscreta. His critical voice has reached audiences through coverage of major international film festivals such as Berlinale and Cannes, and he has served as a jury member across film events in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Holding an MBA from Universidad de los Andes, Lemus also studied creative writing at Madrid’s Escuela de Escritores and practical philosophy at UNED. His intellectual depth is matched by an artistic instinct, expressed through his work as a DJ and music selector with Radio Alhara (Palestine). His sets have taken him to stages in Colombia, Peru, the Balkans, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, where he has shared lineups with artists like Toy Selectah and Love My Robot.
As a global citizen and triathlete, Lemus approaches life with a distinct personal philosophy: that intellectual rigour, artistic expression, and physical discipline are not separate domains but interconnected paths to meaning. Whether behind the decks, at the keyboard, or exploring a new city, he navigates the world with curiosity, precision, and a deep commitment to culture as a lived experience.
Joan Barbosa

Joan Barbosa is a Colombian artist and architect whose multifaceted career has spanned visual arts, digital media, audiovisual storytelling, and immersive technology since the late 1990s. A graduate with honors from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Joan combines traditional techniques with cutting-edge tools such as artificial intelligence, NFTs, and 3D animation to explore new dimensions in contemporary art.
From VJing and musical experimentation to NFT creation and audiovisual installations, Joan’s body of work is deeply interdisciplinary. His projects include the Tripping Cats NFT collection, collaborations with Driftwood Surfer and the NGO Baby Turtle Release, and creative leadership in the Luminarium Hacking Arts showcase.
He has participated in over a dozen international exhibitions including the Jaguar Parade NYC, Biennial of Cali, and events in Brazil, Barcelona, and Tokyo. He has received first prizes from the Snow Leopard Conservancy and Brazil’s Virtual Independence Exhibition and was recently recognized at Japan’s i.generative_art.institute Awards in 2024.
Joan’s work is part of private collections across Colombia, Spain, Guatemala, the U.S., U.K., Korea, Japan, and beyond. With a passion for merging analog soul and AI spirit, he continues to redefine what it means to create in the digital age.

Brayan Castillo, known artistically as Abstract Bray, is a trailblazing interdisciplinary artist, industrial designer, and AI-powered visual performer from Colombia. With over 14 years of experience in creative industries, Bray is one of the pioneers in integrating artificial intelligence and NFTs into contemporary Latin American art. Beeple Studios Exposer His animations and AI visuals have accompanied major electronic festivals and concerts, and in 2025, he will be featured at Burning Man.
