Our church family consists of 67 dedicated members. Many travel from various parts of the city to worship together.

Our central location at 421 Park Avenue places us in the heart of Omaha's diverse Midtown neighborhood.
Our Rich Heritage

Founding (1858)
Established as the parent church of most Baptist congregations in Omaha. Our roots run deep in this community.

Current Building (1904)
Our beautiful sanctuary was completed in October 1904, and can seat up to 450 people. The Education wing was finished in 1958, making the building over 21,000 sq feet.

Modern Renovations
Major upgrades over the past 20 years include restored stained glass, new HVAC, and electrical improvements.

We continue our tradition of fellowship and service while embracing a diverse, changing community.
Our Spiritual Home
Historic Pipe Organ
Our rebuilt pipe organ was installed 32 years ago. It remains a centerpiece of our worship experience.
Restored Stained Glass
All major stained glass windows have been lovingly restored. They illuminate our sanctuary with colored light.
Classic Architecture
Our striking brick building stands out in the neighborhood. Its clean, classic appearance attracts visitors.
Shared Spaces
In addition to the Karen congregation, a local chapter of AA meets here.
Large Group Areas
A gym, full kitchen, and large dining room fosters community, promotes health, and provides space for fellowship and outreach.

Rebecca Ruth Circle
Our women's fellowship group focuses on community service and spiritual growth. They meet regularly for prayer and outreach planning.

Music Ministry
Our active music program includes a choir, band, and bell choir. These groups enhance our worship services throughout the year.

Monthly Kids Nights
We provide special programming for children once a month. These events offer fun activities with biblical teaching.

Community Support
We operate Moses' Basket for community assistance. Our doors are open to those in need.

Annual Live Nativity
Outdoor live nativity scene including sheep, donkey and cattle and faithful congregants as characters in costume.
