As a student, attending the communication skills workshops has been incredibly valuable in helping me develop both personally and professionally. The sessions on Intercultural Communication and Grammar of Politeness helped me become more aware of how culture influences the way we express ourselves, while Personal Branding and Top Communication Strategies gave me the tools to present myself with confidence. Overall, I recommend this program for anyone looking to improve their positive interactions with others, whether as an individual or as part of an organization. - Saleh

I found the Communication Skills Workshops to be extremely beneficial, helpful and useful. I have become more confident and aware of how to communicate effectively with others. Additionally, I have learned how to leverage my knowledge, skills, and experience to adapt to a new community. I enjoyed all the sessions, but the most beneficial one was Small Talk. It was particularly helpful because I had difficulty initiating conversations with people here in the UK. The most important realisation I had was that I had mental barriers. Once I overcame them, I became more confident and recognised the benefits of this change, particularly in handling critical situations. I found it much easier to adapt and engage with the community in the UK. The workshop 5 helped me focus on the specific language I used during my interview, which strengthened my performance and made it more impactful. How I can benefit them, and I have learned to apply my knowledge and skills while adapting to their needs. In a recent interview, I utilised the skills and strategies I had learned. I spoke confidently, and even when I occasionally forgot a word in English, I did not let it stop or panic me; I continued speaking smoothly and maintained my flow. I focused on demonstrating my value and how I could benefit the employer. I effectively showcased my knowledge and skills, adapting them to meet the employer's needs. As a result, I was accepted. Overall, the interview was a very positive experience. To be honest, I am proud of myself, and I would like to thank you, Melanie, for your work, help, and efforts. I have had the opportunity to develop my communication skills. - Zohra
