Woodcut Primer

A picture-book woodcut deck for teaching and explaining ideas through concrete things. Broad flat fields of glaucous blue and coral grenadine sit on a cool pale page with thin ink keylines, under sturdy book-serif titles and a carved vine rule. Original woodcut scenes fill plates and splits, single woodcut objects stand beside type, and numbered picture keys pin each part of a scene to an editable legend. A carved green garden ground marks act breaks, quotations and the timeline. Native bar and donut charts, a planning matrix, a branching path, captioned evidence plates and a portrait row complete the set.
